    CloudLabs VM Labs is a fully managed virtual lab platform. You define the lab once (Windows or Linux VMs, networking, software, datasets), CloudLabs deploys per-attendee environments on demand. Trainers and instructors keep full control; we handle the Azure plumbing.
  • How is this different from Azure Lab Services?
    Same Azure backend, richer feature set: integrated lab guides inside the VM, Instructor Shadow VM for over-the-shoulder support, LMS integration via LTI 1.1/1.2, multi-language 24×7 support, transparent pay-as-you-go pricing, no service-retirement timeline pressure. Microsoft-recommended migration path for ALS customers.
  • Can I use my own Azure subscription?
    Yes. Bring your own Azure subscription and lab VMs run on it, or use a CloudLabs-managed Azure environment. Your call. Both paths are fully supported with the same UX and tooling.
  • How do shared VMs work?
    Multi-session VMs let multiple users share a single VM concurrently — useful for cost-effective scenarios like large lecture-hall sessions where each student needs read-mostly access to a shared environment. Per-user dedicated VMs are also available for sensitive scenarios.
  • How fast can a lab go live?
    Pre-built labs deploy in minutes. Custom labs for new scenarios typically ship in 1–2 weeks depending on complexity. Our team handles VM image build and validation; you focus on the curriculum.
